Recession Resilient Careers
When the economy goes through a recession, the community lowers spending, businesses cut non-essential expenses, and even the government is constrained in hiring. Yet, some jobs are essential for the normal functioning of society.
No matter what happens, certain professions are not adversely impacted by the ups and downs of the economy. Healthcare, Law Enforcement professionals, Therapists, Specialized caregivers, and Public utility workers are usually the most resilient careers and are as close as it gets to guaranteed job security in tough times.
Financial assistance may be available to those who qualify. The Better Jobs Ontario financial support may cover tuition, books, transportation costs and, may also include basic living allowance as well as childcare.
Better Jobs Ontario is a need-based grant and you may be required to financially contribute to your training or education. If you qualify for Better Jobs Ontario you can get new skills (those needed for jobs in demand now) and financial support.
