The objective of the Paralegal Diploma program is to provide our students with the required substantive law training to successfully enter the Law Society of Ontario’s paralegal licensing process.
The Paralegal Studies program at Anderson College will set a strong legal foundation with courses in Aboriginal Rights, Small Claims Court, Tribunal Practice & Procedures, Immigration, Refugee, Citizenship, and Human Rights, the Criminal Code of Canada and much more!

The overall program goals and objectives are aligned with Sonography Canada’s National Competency Profile Version 6.0.
Sonography is a regulated profession in Ontario under the guidance of the CMRITO – College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (www.cmrito.org).
Upon successful completion of this program students will also be eligible to challenge the American Registry Exam for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
Paralegals are employed by law firms and in legal departments throughout the public and private sectors. Independent paralegals are usually self-employed.
The labour supply and demand for paralegal and related occupations (NOC 4211) will be balanced in Canada over the next 10 years.
The median wage for paralegals and related occupations is $28.57 per hour in Ontario. *
