As a Medical Esthetician, your role is one of customer care, from booking appointments and greeting your clients to providing them with skin analysis, applying make-up, providing cosmetic massage and performing regular or medical facial treatments in your beauty course. You may also provide laser, and radio frequency treatments as well as microdermabrasion. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE
As an esthetician, you will have many employment options. Estheticians can work in spas, medical spas, makeup companies, and even dermatology offices.
The program is 66 weeks in length, including a 4-week practicum with on-the-job training, which will take place offsite with potential employers. During our program you will obtain the skills required for your new career, which will be delivered by our industry-expert instructors.
You can then apply those learnings in our facilities with state-of-the-art spa and laser equipment. You will gain knowledge in skin care, human anatomy, nutrition, and the importance of bacteriology and decontamination.
You will gain experience in a variety of services including nail technology, skin care, manicures and pedicures, make-up artistry, body treatments, facials and various laser treatments.

The overall program goals and objectives are aligned with Sonography Canada’s National Competency Profile Version 6.0.
Sonography is a regulated profession in Ontario under the guidance of the CMRITO – College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (www.cmrito.org).
Upon successful completion of this program students will also be eligible to challenge the American Registry Exam for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
