The program is 50 weeks in length, including a 80 hours practicum. Using the latest and most sophisticated software and technology, students in this program learn how to create storyboards, write scripts, operate professional cameras and film equipment, create special effects and so much more. They become experts in Film and Video Production, Social Media, Multimedia, Digital Marketing and Advertising.
You will learn to create storyboards, write scripts, operate professional cameras and film equipment and create special effects. Via in-class instruction and creative assignments, you will get first-hand experience in the creative process, from inception to execution. You will also learn how to pursue and then complete projects by collaborating with crew members, actors and other members of the creative team. An internship in your final semester is the last step in our unique and immersive program.

The overall program goals and objectives are aligned with Sonography Canada’s National Competency Profile Version 6.0.
Sonography is a regulated profession in Ontario under the guidance of the CMRITO – College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (www.cmrito.org).
Upon successful completion of this program students will also be eligible to challenge the American Registry Exam for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
