Our Early Childhood Education program offers three distinct practicum placements to enrich students’ practical experience and cultivate their ability to work effectively with a diverse range of age groups, including infants and toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children.
The program is designed to provide students with the essential employability skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the field of early childhood education and an opportunity to apply their skills in a real-world early childhood education setting.

The overall program goals and objectives are aligned with Sonography Canada’s National Competency Profile Version 6.0.
Sonography is a regulated profession in Ontario under the guidance of the CMRITO – College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (www.cmrito.org).
Upon successful completion of this program students will also be eligible to challenge the American Registry Exam for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
