As a Cardiology Technologist, you will assist physicians by using various procedures and equipment to diagnose and monitor heart and blood vessel disorders.
Your responsibilities can range from recording and assessing cardiac activity; providing preliminary reports of tests; and the preparation of reports for the interpretation of the cardiologist.

The overall program goals and objectives are aligned with Sonography Canada’s National Competency Profile Version 6.0.
Sonography is a regulated profession in Ontario under the guidance of the CMRITO – College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (www.cmrito.org).
Upon successful completion of this program students will also be eligible to challenge the American Registry Exam for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

Heather has over 25 years’ experience in different aspects of Diagnostic Cardiology Services, particularly in managing, testing, training, and development. She has extensive experience managing, developing, and training clinical staff, allied professionals, and students. Heather is an expert clinician with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational capabilities. Heather has completed diplomas in Cardiology and Echocardiography and also holds a certificate in Program Management.
